Stephanie Magnarelli, DVM

Dr Stephanie Magnarelli knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age and began getting involved with animal shelters near her hometown of Topsfield, Massachusetts. By the time she reached high school she got her first real job at an animal shelter and she knew she didn't want to be just any veterinarian, she wanted to be a shelter veterinarian!

 

She attended Franklin Pierce University for her BS then went to Ross University to obtain her DVM. After spending a couple years in private practice, Dr Stephanie came to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire in 2018 as the shelter veterinarian. 

 

A few years later Dr. Stephanie joined the leadership team as the Chief Medical Officer alongside Marianne (our CEO) and Naomi (our COO). The three of them work very hard to keep everything at the shelter running smoothly!

 

Although Dr Stephanie still resides in Massachusetts, she is happy to make the drive to NH for her dream job. At home she has a small farm with almost as many animals as there are at the shelter (just kidding!) but we won't name them all here because it is always changing.
