The Animal Rescue League of NH (ARLNH) protects the privacy and integrity of the information provided to us to the maximum extent possible when you use our website www.rescueleague.org. This data may be used to help diagnose website problems, record and analyze page visits and visitor trends, deliver customized/personalized content, or to enhance the website.

b.      Voluntarily Provided: ARLNH respects your privacy, recognizes you may wish to limit our communication with you, and will always honor your request to modify your communication preferences. To change your email or mailing preferences, please contact info@rescueleague.org

i. E-Newsletter subscriptions, surveys, waivers: Information you submit on these pages is general contact information that may include name, email address, mailing address, phone number, format preference, interests, and/or similar information.

ii. Donation and Event Registration Pages: Information you submit on these pages is not processed or stored on this website. This data is transmitted to a SOC 2 compliant, VeriSign Secured, third-party service provider using SSL encryption to ensure the security and privacy of all transactions.

iii. Surrender and Assistance Requests: Information you submit on these pages is not processed or stored on this website, nor are monetary transactions accepted. This data is transmitted to a secure third-party service provider.

2.      Use of Cookies: The ARLNH website may use cookies to improve your site experience. A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on your computer by your web browser while you are browsing. Cookies may be disabled within your web browser; however, some areas of our site may not function properly when you view them.

3.      Use of Information Collected: Your privacy is important. ARLNH does not rent or sell its donor or event participation lists.

a.      However, in addition to the purposes described above, we may use information you provide for the following:

4.      Security of Information: While ARLNH cannot control all possible breaches, we shall endeavor to take every precaution to maintain adequate physical, procedural, and technical security with respect to our office and information storage, so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the user’s personal information under ARLNH’s control. ARLNH uses a Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Any information will be used only by ARLNH employees with “need to know” purposes to fulfill job responsibilities or by authorized agents working on behalf of ARLNH.

 

5.      Information Retention: ARLNH retains the information you provide us for the period allowable by law where there is a justifiable business need to do so. You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time and all requests will be honored in accordance with applicable laws. Please direct these requests to info@rescueleague.org. You can also request modifications to how ARLNH communicates with you by emailing info@rescueleague.org.

 

6.      Social Media and Third-Party Websites: ARLNH may use information obtained from third-party websites to provide a requested service, accept a donation, post to or display social media channels or improve our website. ARLNH does not control, nor is liable for third-party websites, and encourages you to read individual website privacy policies as they may differ from this one. Your choice to share personal information on such social media sites, through ARLNH’s website, is done voluntarily and at your own risk. ARLNH is not responsible for any act or omission of any third-party site, nor are we responsible for the consequences of your decision to share your personal information on such sites.

 

7.      Children’s Privacy: ARLNH complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) as we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from those under the age of 13. ARLNH does not specifically market to, nor intentionally collect, personal information from website visitors under the age of 13. Should ARLNH learn about the submission of information via the website from a child under the age of 13, ARLNH will delete the information as soon as possible.
