Have you considered sponsoring an animal awaiting adoption at the League?  Having a supporter cover the cost of the care of even one animal living at the League helps tremendously. 

Dog Sponsorship Program

If you are interested in sponsoring a dog kennel in our dog adoption area, the cost is $50 per month.  For that you will receive a sign on the kennel designating you as the sponsor and a monthly report about all the residents who have lived in your kennel on their way to their new homes.

Sponsoring a kennel with the Animal Rescue League has been a tremendous experience for us.  The monthly updates that we receive provide the personal information that keeps us involved.  We feel like we know our kennel residents well and we have learned so much about the ARL, their processes, and their commitment to their kennel friends.     

I would recommend sponsorship to anyone who has the capacity to get involved.  We love animals but unfortunately cannot keep anymore at our house, much to our children's chagrin.  This is a wonderful way for us to feel like we are making a small difference and maybe helping a family by providing for their future best friend.

Cat Sponsorship Program

If you are interested in sponsoring a cat, the cost is $40 per month.  Because of the volume and turnover with cats, we do request that you allow our staff to select the animal for sponsorship, though we can certainly do that with preferred criteria from you (e.g., a female, a senior cat, strays only, etc.).  On a monthly basis, you would receive a report on the sponsored cat via email.  Once the cat is adopted, we would tell you that happy news, a new cat would be chosen, and would appear in the next monthly report along with the final update on the previous cat.

We would also love to have you sponsor a small animal.  Opportunties are listed below:

     Guinea Pig, Hamster or Rat: $15

Rabbit: $20   

Please note that while we almost always have rabbits, we do not always consistently have ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters or rats.
