The League's 3rd Annual Gala Evening of Compassion is scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2007. The event, which will be held at the Event Center at CR Sparks in Bedford will feature the entertainment of the professional Improv Asylum group, straight from Boston! We will also be featuring past adopters who have adopted their animal from a situation of animal cruelty and will be able to talk to our audience about how far their animal has come since adoption.
We will also have our Volunteer of the Year Award, given to the volunteer at the league who has gone over and above this year in the variety of jobs that they have performed and the number of hours they have put in, as well as how their work here has affected the big picture and the mission of the shelter.
