What is this all about?

On Thursday, March 25th, the League will be hosting its 2nd Annual Kennel Up Event.  This event is similar to the MDA Lock-Up Event but instead of raising bail money, interested participants will be asked to raise their "adoption fee" prior to leaving the League.  Please help us to reach our goal of $20,000 on the 25th.  Please read on for more information...

It's Time to Kennel Up!

What:  The goal of this fundraiser is to have 30 or more people willing to join us at the Animal Rescue League of NH for one day.  During this event, attendees will be educated about the mission, goals, needs and what drives us to continue our good work with the animals.  The attendees will be asked to raise their own "Adoption Fee," which will allow for their "adoption" or release at the end of the day.  There will be a tiered adoption fee; participants can choose which level they would like to reach during their stay at the League:

     ·  $250:   This amount would provide 50 rabies vaccines for the animals in our care.

     ·  $500:   The average amount spent on each animal during their stay at the League.

     ·  $750:   The amount spent on ~250 bags of cat litter, which is the shelter's top
                    supply need.

     ·  $1,500: One full Spayapalooza Clinic fee.  Each clinic alters approximately 30 animals.

     ·  $2,500: This amount would cover all shelter costs for one day.

Participants can also partner with a friend or two and work together to raise one set amount.

Here's a Kennel Up Poster to print and hang at your office or school!

Party! At the end of the day, we will be hosting a cocktail party for participants and any donor that commits to $100 or more that day.  The purpose of this party is to celebrate our achievements and the success of this fundraiser, as well as introduce donors to the League, staff, and most importantly, the animals.

Where:  At the Animal Rescue League of NH; 545 Route 101 in Bedford.

When:  Thursday, March 25th, 2010 from 1pm-6pm.  The post-event celebration party will be at the League from 6-7:30pm and include food and wine for the participants.

Many thanks to T-BONES Great American Eatery for sponsoring the post-Kennel Up party at the League!

How To Sign Up:  Contact Robin McCune at (603) 472-5714 or email robin@rescueleague.org.

More information:  For participants that have a hectic work schedule, please feel free to raise your "adoption fee" prior to the event if you cannot attend.  Ideally, we would love to have you attend the party that evening with your pledge tally in order to thank you in person.  We are not requiring our participants to stay the entire day if they raise their goal within a few hours.

Participants are asked to bring their cell phones and laptops if possible.  You will use these to email or call friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to secure pledges which will be credited to your total amount.  Please plan on bringing the contact information of potential donors.  The League can invoice donors; our preferred method of contact is by email and/or phone.

Participants will be educated about the many programs the shelter has to offer and will be supplied with a cheat sheet of statistics and information about the League that can be used when soliciting donations.

This event is designed to be educational and fun in nature.  We hope to have you join us on March 25th at 1pm at the League for this exciting fundraiser.  Please contact Robin with any further questions at (603) 472-5714 or email robin@rescueleague.org.
Please be aware that anyone planning on participating must register with Robin prior to March 11th.
